On a small beach on the other side of Constitution Hill, this was taken late in the afternoon, just as the light was starting to turn golden and the air was getting chillier. I love the slate cliffs in this area, they make for some gorgeous formations. And at low tide, you can just about walk around the headland seen here, into this tiny little minature beach which is about... maybe 40 square metres of sand, with the cliff curving around it. It's a great place to go and chill for a couple of hours, do some tai chi, or just watch the sun pass overhead. Heavenly.

The magic of photography is metaphysical. What you see in the photograph isn't what you saw at the time. The real skill of photography is organised visual lying.

Wow. The rocks look like waves themselves, splashing up against the cliff face... I love that. :)

Thanks mate! I think I was just lucky with the light, it made everything start to turn gold... I want to take a load of shots of the base of consti at low tide, thats such a crazy little lansscape of rocks and tidepools.
